Ildikó Szállás is a Budapest-born, Cambridge-based ceramic artist working from her home studio. Her handbuilt vessels are shaped by her Hungarian roots, her life across Hungary, Norway and the UK, and an enduring interest in Japanese aesthetics and Nordic restraint. Working intuitively with clay, she explores transformation, impermanence and the elemental forces that shape our world.
